B + B located in Clane, Dublin Co.

The city was jammed for the International Special Olympics and this was a great place to stay...

The Prince is on the road into the Wicklow Mountains. This stop was very close to Sally Gap.

Pierre was impressed with the Powerscourt Manor and Gardens along with the tallest waterfall in Ireland...Powerscourt Waterfall...

B + B in Bennetsbridge near Kilkenny...

Pierre visted Kilkenny Castle. He had the personal attention of a wonderful guide.
After the tour Prince Pierre relaxes outside in the gardens with a few new found friends.

Prince Pierre rests by St. Patrick's Cross in the courtyard on the Rock of Cashel.

Legend says that St. Patrick explained the Holy Trinity at Cashel by showing pagans a shamrock & pointing out that the three leaves represent the Father, Son & Holy Ghost.

Prince Pierre prepares to board the ferry "Shannon Dolphin" to cross the Shannon Estuary. The view was memorable as they slowly made their way across the river...

The Prince is in awe of the view at the magnificent Cliffs of Mohr rising almost 700 feet above the Altantic Ocean...

The view is inspirational! The Prince invites two lovely ladies, Kate and Nancy to dine with him that evening...

Pierre gets a tour of Aillwee Cave in the Burren Region of Clare, Co.

His guide, Laure, assured us that she and Pierre would get along famously since they are both French...

Dinner and traditional music at a pub in Doolin were in order. Here the Prince and his guests met a teacher from Michigan, Dee Dee, who encouraged Pierre to join in the fun...

Pierre's last evening was spent visiting Adare in Limerick Co. at the Adare Manor.
The Prince felt very much at home in the splendor of this mansion...

He also enjoyed the lovely gardens of this Victorian Gothic mansion that was once the home of the Earls of Dunraven.

The last castle that Pierre visited was Bunratty Castle built in 1425. Here, medieval banquets are still served nightly (or Knightly!)...

Pierre waves a found farewell and adieu to the castle and to Ireland and all the kind people he met after a most enjoyable stay...

Prince Pierre made friends with Dee, his Aer Lingus Flight Attendant. They became fast friends on the flight from Shannon to Boston...

HRH Prince Pierre dela Ponde wishes to thank the Lange's and their friends for being such great and hospitable hosts in Ireland. Prince Pierre would return in a hop to a most cordial and beautiful country.

I wonder where Pierre's off to next?
