Pierre thought it was interesting that in Lisbon, Portugal they put their maps on the street??! It actually was a beautiful work of art.
So... sitting in the Atlantic Ocean... to our left (your right) is the Iberian Peninsula where we are at the moment and... to our right (your left) is New England, where we will be returning to in May.

The Prince and Julia pose in front of the monastery in Lisboa (Lisbon) before making our way to see an exhibit of Frida Kahlo at the museum. Sadly, Prince Pierre was not allowed to enter the museum (??)

There are many fountains in Lisbon and Prince Pierre enjoys the fresh air and the view with Julia.

Prince Pierre hops up 236 steps to the top of this tower (Julia took the elevator... smart girl!) There was a great view of the city from here. They did go down the stairs together...

Pierre and Julia make a stop at the Boca del Infierno (The Mouth of Hell) where very srong waves smash against the side of a cliff...

Prince Pierre and Julia walked down some steps to see the waves a little closer... we were warned by our Professor that he had once seen somebody get carried away by the powerful waves... soooooo... we thought it a good idea to go back to the top.

The trip to Lisbon was not only exciting but educational... Julia was a wonderful host on the tour and Pierre enjoyed himself. He'll probably have drreams about the huge waves at he beach....

I wonder where Pierre's off to next?
